The girls have grown so much over the last half year. Haylee has gone from sitting to crawling to walking and now running. It has been so much fun watching her transform from this little bitty baby to this lovely little girl. And Alexia has gone from a little toddler to a big girl who talks non stop and has no problem telling you exactly how she feels. It has definitely been a rocky year but as one of my fave quotes says ""Being gentle means forgiving yourself when you mess up. We should learn from our mistakes, but we shouldn't beat the tar out of ourselves over them. The past is just that, past. Learn what went wrong and why. Make amends if you need to. Then drop it and move on." ---Sean Covey. And that is what we strive to live by.
Haylee's birthday was May 7th and we had a great party for her at the park where most of her family member celebrated her turning the big "1"!

We have had a fun summer filled with lots of fun in the sun. The girls love the water so much so we like to go to the pool or lake whenever we can. Pics to come.
Alexia celebrated her 3rd birthday this month and it was fun because she now understand that her birthday is coming before hand and expects presents. I think it heightens the excitement of the whole birthday experience. Pics to come of that whole week soon.
